The Lubbock-Cooper Education Foundation (LCEF) has awarded $97,000 in scholarships to 65 graduating seniors from Lubbock-Cooper High School and New Hope Academy in 2025.
These scholarships support students pursuing higher education at colleges, universities, or technical/trade schools, with selections based on academic merit, citizenship, sponsor recommendations, and personal essays.
In addition to these awards, LCEF facilitated four named scholarships established by community members to honor individuals with significant ties to the Lubbock-Cooper community:
Hannah Grace Venable Memorial Scholarship: For students demonstrating a strong work ethic and kindness, reflecting Hannah's legacy .cfwt

Joe Dale Gillispie Memorial Scholarship: For students planning careers in agriculture, landscaping, or as first responders .lchs.lcisd.net

Since its inception, LCEF has awarded over $791,000 in scholarships to graduating seniors of Lubbock-Cooper ISD.
