grant award day

Wednesday, September 16 was a BIG day for the Lubbock-Cooper Education Foundation as we celebrated the Foundation’s annual Grant Award Day!

This year, the Foundation awarded 32 grants across all 10 Lubbock-Cooper ISD campuses, totaling $101,072.37! We had the best time taking the celebration directly to our campuses and classrooms, and we’re so thankful to the LCHS Drumline, our Pirate and Patriot cheerleaders, and mascots Pete and Paul for joining us on the campus tour and helping us celebrate our incredible educators!

And there’s even bigger news: With this year’s grant awards, the Lubbock-Cooper Education Foundation has now surpassed $2 MILLION in total giving to Lubbock-Cooper ISD students and teachers through grants and scholarships! ❤️🖤❤️💙

That is an incredible milestone — one that represents years of generosity, partnership and belief in the students and educators of Lubbock-Cooper ISD.

Congratulations to this year’s grant recipients!
